2 Tri-Color Cartridges - recent - 3 Sealed & 1 of the blacks is an open package but the cartridge has not ever been removed.

I had purchased a brand-new printer (Sept 2024) from a sought-after retail chain but didn't set it up right away as I was trying to finish using up the ink in my old 1.
When that time came to set it up (about 2 weeks into Jan. 2025 & this is when I partial opened the packaging on the 1 black ink cartridge) | discovered the printer didn't work as the power wouldn't even come on. I ended up purchasing another brands printer & tried to return the defective 1. The retailer would not do the return saying after 3 months they won't take back electronics. I called HP as it was under warranty & they sent a replacement printer, I was instructed by them to keep the ink from the defective l before sending it back. Anyway that is how these cartridges came to be here.
