Also known as "China Silk", this lightweight and breezy blank 8mm Habotai scarf is ideal for dyeing and painting, because it is the tremendously economical of all the silks.
Pairs fabulous with our Jacquard Acid Dyes and make the flawless weight scarf for summer.
If you're looking for a really clean even finish, we suggest you pre-wash in popular water and Synthrapol or Professional Textile Detergent, all silk before dyeing or painting to remove any leftover residue from the silk worms (Seracin) or finger prints and other stuff that can cause the fabric to dye unevenly.
